Our Story
Three Driven Sisters, One Powerful High-Fibre Food
We’re sisters—Melanie, Teresa, and Dina—and in 2018, we took over what is now Natura Fibre, a product deeply rooted in our family history. Though it wasn’t part of our own upbringing (we were very much kids of the convenience food generation—think sugary cereals and soda), the more we learned about fibre, nutrition, and our family’s connection to this traditional Finnish recipe, the more we felt called to share it.
We were raised on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, and when the opportunity came to continue the small family-run business started by our cousin in Mission, BC, it just made sense. We already loved the product—and knew it could do even more.
One of the first things we did was certify it 100% organic and move production to a certified gluten-free facility. We also introduced a smaller package size to make it easier for new customers to get started.
Since then, we've doubled down on the mission to make healthy, high-fibre living as easy and accessible as possible—keeping the convenience we grew up with, but adding a whole lot of goodness to every day. Find us in stores all over North America.
