Crumble Topping

A buttery, cinnamon-spiced crumble topping that's perfect for baked apples, berries, peaches, or other fruit desserts. To make vegan, substitute plant butter. 

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup Natura Fiber
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup butter, cold and cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to your favorite fruit crumble recipe.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, Natura Fiber, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the cold butter and, using a pastry cutter, two forks, or your fingertips, work it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble evenly over your favorite apple, berry, peach, or other fruit filling.
  5. Bake according to your fruit crumble recipe, or until the topping is golden brown and crisp.
