A buttery, cinnamon-spiced crumble topping that's perfect for baked apples, berries, peaches, or other fruit desserts. To make vegan, substitute plant butter.
Ingredients
- 1½ cups rolled oats
- 1 cup Natura Fiber
- 3 tbsp sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- ¾ cup butter, cold and cubed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to your favorite fruit crumble recipe.
- In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, Natura Fiber, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the cold butter and, using a pastry cutter, two forks, or your fingertips, work it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumble evenly over your favorite apple, berry, peach, or other fruit filling.
- Bake according to your fruit crumble recipe, or until the topping is golden brown and crisp.
